Jay Leno’s Newt Joke:
http://ping.fm/XHWb9
Newt lashed out and said the attacks from the media make it harder to attract decent people to run for office, and he’s right. That’s why we have people like Newt Gingrich running for office.

Newt’s attacks are unreasonable. Mitt Romney’s Freddie Mac and Cayman investments are in blind trusts, where Mitt has no decision control:

Hey, Mr. Romney, if silly Republicans out there don’t nominate you, please go back to being a CEO of a public company and we will be the first to buy your stock!

Maybe the solution is to raise capital gain taxes for those making more than a million per year.

Media’s attack on 15% capital gain tax rate is WRONG for America! The companies we invest in pay 35% corporate taxes. And then we pay another 15% on our gains. That’s 50%! If America attack investors, capital will move elsewhere, such as Cayman Island.

Media’s attack on 15% capital gain tax rate is simply WRONG for America! The companies we invest in pay 35% personal taxes. And then we pay another 15% on our gains. That’s 50%. If America attack investors, capital will move elsewhere.

Why media forgot “double taxation”! Mr. Romney as an investor actually paid 50% taxes: 35% at the corporate level plus 15% at the personal level:

With all due respect, Mr. Buffett did not take into consideration that investors are taxed twice.

Newt Gingrich did engage in open marriage for 6 years, a fact he “successfully” denied with passion:
